On keg at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Hazy like all the others. Nose - dried orange and pine. Spice at the back. Taste - pepper and cloves which subsides to a tropical and citrus fruit combination. Pithy lime and spice finish. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good beer.

On cask @ the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - opaque black with a nice sheen. Proportionate creamy head. Nose - again didn’t read the description, so was surprised to find it was sour on the nose. Some chocolate and roast if you look for it. Taste - the tart yeast seems to smooth over any chocolate notes, but there is an element of something creamy in there. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long persistent tangy finish. Overall - it works. It’s not an Imperial Stout. It fits best into Flemish Brown probably.
