75cl bottle all to myself because I’m worth it. Pours a deep hazed amber, frothy off-white head. Aroma bears a light spice and a light sweetness. Taste is spice-forward, initially reminiscent of Fantome although this does subside somehwat. As I read through the tasting notes above, yes orange marmalade appears, with plenty of citrus and spice and a little coconut on the finish (sorachi?). Needs a little more fizz, and flavour tails off a little mid-way through, but it’s an enjoyable saison.

can, 4.5%, 33cl. bright Orange/golden with a full white head. Aroma of caramels, floral, citrus, malts, orange peel, sirupy, limited however it’s okay.. Goldeb colour, white head. Aroma of grain, straw, malt, grass. Some hops. Smell of honey and hops. Mildly bitter. Slightly papery. Plentiful carbon.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Paler golden with a small head. Dry hopped pale ale, but its tropical fruit notes are well stated and dominant its character. Clean and crisp with hints of toffee alongside the aforementioned in its nose.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Brighter amber coloured ale with an extremely thin head. Hoppy pale ale with a fairly crisp full fruity taste, and plenty of nose in this respect too.

Bottle courtesy of Geraint & Helen (thanks you two!) consumed at home Friday 10th June 2016 in the company of Nick, Nellie, Julie, Lynn & Barry (shared mainly with Barry) . Dark gold in colour with a white head. Really fruity but there is a real depth of flavour here (ageing I guess) not sure how this has been aged, wood maybe? Tangy with a good citrussy edge, orange and lime I get, but not the coconut? Some warmth from the alcohol, but not intrusive or to the detriment of this beer. Really enjoyed this. Cask, on gravity at the Avon Valley Beer festival, 4/6/2015. Chestnut in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Big, bready malts, some citrus fruits, leafy hops and a decently bitter finish. Good.
