Buddel: Pale golden, slightly hazy, mid-sized loose white head, quite quickly diminishing, quite frsh fruity (lemons and bananas) nose with a faint tinge of cloves; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light bodied; citrousy-sourish finish. A light, but really refreshing Weizen.....

bottle, thank you MoritzF! Golden colour, slightly hazy, small head. Intensive aroma of malt. Full-bodied, very aromatic, full of fruity and malty flavours with a shy bitterness blended into the background. More hoppy in the lingering finish and aftertaste.

Bottle: Pale greenish-golden, small foamy layer, lacing a little bit; sweet grainy to malty nose with a touch of bitterness, cardboardy and metallic traces detectable; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; "dries out" towards the bitter-malty finish, grassy hops detectable in the aftertaste. A clean, unspectacular brew...

Bottle: Golden, slightly hazy, smaller foamy layer; distinctive sweet-grainy nose with a delicate fruity-nutty and hoppy support, but cave: the first molecular signs of a beginning infection are already in the aroma; moderate sweet and bitter flavour, medium bodied; the sweet barley shows up again in the sweet-bitter finish. A pleasant, chewy Export......

Bottle: Very pale greenish-golden coloured, that leaves a good lace; faint grainy-fruity (honey) nose with some chalky/earthy aromas; delicate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, almost a bit watery; fruity finish with a delicate dryish grassy bitterness in the end. A one-dimensional brew............

Bügelverschlußflasche: Cloudy, orangey coloured, quickly diminishing off-white foam; fruity (oranges) sweet-grainy and yeasty nose with a touch of herbal hops; moderate, quite dry, bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, a bit fizzy; "oaky"-hoppy, bitter finish with a touch of caramel. Not bad, a well rounded and tasty brew......

Bottle: A bit unclear, deep amber coloured with a rather fluffy, slowly diminishing tanned head; acidic (almost with a touch of brettanomyces.. ?) caramelly nose; sweetish-bitter flavour with a present sourness, light to medium bodied; caramelly-barrique finish. No pleasure, this possibly infected Dunkel (best before 10/07, sampled 07/07) deserves a second chance...

(bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a foamy white, medium-sized head. Dusty, medium-sweet, slightly acidic citrus-fruity nose with spicy phenols in the background.Light-sweet flavour, moderate wheat-malty, grainy taste with a sour-fruity note (citrus); quite strong clove-phenols towards the finish, but the soft grainy aftertaste placates a bit.

(swing top bottle) Hazy, orange colour with a big and fluffy white foam. Slightly sweet and yeasty, quite fruit-accented (oranges, apricots) aroma with a slightly flowery background. Moderately yeasty, slightly biscuity and citrus fruity taste with a tinge of honey and a light herbal background. Sweet-bitter, malty and restrained fruity finish. Balanced and refreshing Zwickel-/Kellerbier. The only brew of the Karmeliter assortment that is filled in swing tops instead of the old-fashioned Euro2 bottles.
