Tap at Final Gravity in Roseville, CA. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Aroma is floral/tropical/citrus. Full bodied or more! Flavor is mixed tropical/floral/citrus. Surprisingly it does not seem dry, and the bitter is not over the top. Neither is it dank. But there's so much hop my mouth begins to seem a bit anesthetized. Seems to be more bitter than I initially perceived. Wowser.

Can into a snifter showing well filtered amber with no head. The nose shows clean but subtle notes of citrus and pine. The palate is light bodied and well carbonated. Clean flavours of lightly intense lemon, orange, and pineapple with barely any bitterness on the finish. Well balanced and no bready maltiness interrupting the flavours. Well done.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 08/02/2017. Aroma is very hop forward with lots of tropical fruit and citrus. Mango, passion fruit, papaya and pineapple with some orange and tangerine. Hint of resin and alcohol spice. Light cracker malt backbone. Pours a rather hazy, pale, golden straw color with a medium large, frothy, white head that recedes steadily. Fairly high lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with a medium light cracker malt backbone. Moderate bitterness with moderately strong hop flavors that are similar to the aroma but with the citrus and resin being a bit more prevalent than the tropical fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, another great hazy, hop-forward DIPA from Moonraker.

16oz can pours with an opaque dull grapefruit juice looking body that supports a nice white head. The modest aroma offers up earthy slightly dank hops, thin soft cantaloupe and papaya and then a faint floral hop sensation. The taste delivers a well blended hop expression of soft cantaloupe, mango and papaya as well as some spicy bitter hoppiness. This is so well balanced and blended with hop flavor married up to a modest level of hop bitterness. Solid.
