Dark brown colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have artificially sweet syrup notes. Background roasted bitterness suggest a good basis beer. The extras are not an enhancement.

Can. Pretty much a clear orange amber beer, good bubbly cream colour head. Airy palate, smooth and mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, not a huge amount of depth here, but decent creamy sweetness and a touch of tangy caramel. Dominant flavour is of orange and tangerine peel hops. Some pine and brighter citrus underneath. Smooth and semi dry finish. A simplistic but reasonably drinkable barleywine. Don't dislike this but a good barleywine needs to be more than a dry hopped strong beer, much more.

Can thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light grapefruit an light tropicalia. Taste is lemon and tropical fruit. Light and dry. Lacks a bit of hop character for me.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - grapefruit and pineapple. Damp dishcloth. Taste - tutti fruity and dank lemon. Palate - light bodied and dry. Overall - something a bit dirty/yeasty is slightly spoiling this.
