Crystal clear coloured body with a bright orange and copper body with some apricot highlights and almost no head at all. Aroma of bright funky citrus and tropical fruits with guava, passionfruit, pineapple, papaya and some bretty funk noticeable. Light-bodied; Strong funky, cardboardie flavour with only a touch of the grain and odd brett funk around, basically none of the fruits show up in the taste. Aftertaste is relatively mild and super low-key with only a bit of the grass and hay coming through and not much of the fruit either with only a dose of funk that shows through, all from the brett and yeast strain. Overall, a pretty subdued beer with nothing else terribly complex or enjoyable, but a decent beer, perhaps, just not worth searching out or trying to grab. I sampled this sixteen ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 31-May-2017 for US$4,36 sampled at home in Washington a day before running the USMC Marathon 2017 for the seventh time on 20-October-2017.
