We produce beautifully balanced beers. We blend the contemporary with the traditional to produce flavoursome craft beers. Check our webshop for the latest releases (UK wide) or swing by our great taproom for beers, food and more.

We produce beers across the spectrum. Our first and core beers will be unashamedly British, but we savour beers from across the world and relish the opportunity to offer our interpretations. Built on a foundation of quality and consistency our beautiful little brewery in Teesdale will be delivering beers across the North East… and beyond.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are flowers, honey, herbs, camomile, fruits and hops.

ABV: 5.0%. Hazy - murky medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, dough, camomile, camomile tea. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet yeast, camomile, camomile tea, floral camomile flowers. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180722]

ABV: 6.0%. Clear light medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, fruity hops, citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180722]

Cask at ORB, Darlington. Golden colour, creamy white foam head leaving some lacing and fruity aroma. Taste is pale malt, fruity, citrus, sweetish with a yeasty note and light earthy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy finish. Quite drinkable.

20/7/2018. Cask at the Newcastle Tap. Pours almost clear, mid gold with a small lasting white head. Aroma of orange, tropical fruit, hops, malt and a light herbal edge. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Not bad.

A4, N6, T7, P3, O13
Orange, very hazy, dense white head, good lacing
Aroma of slight orange fruit, little on nose
Taste of soft bitter orange zest, light pale malt, not getting actual blood orange, lightly hopped
Palate - Medium light body, soft bitter, clean texture, refreshing. FInish of light citrus zest
Overall - Clean refreshing beer

On cask @ the Guildford Arms. Appearance - golden amber and fairly clear. Nose - orange and light toffee. Taste - more of the orange and toffee more prominent. Palate - close to medium bodied. Tangy and fairly dry on the finish. Overall - decent.
