Can. Brut IPA with white grape and Mosaic. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light and mildly smooth, reasonable fine carbonation. Airy malts, a light creamy sweetness. Slightly skunky floral grape. A little floral tangerine and ripe tropical fruits. Touch of lemon and lime peel, also with the all pervading floral slant. A light tangy finish. Another unusual and drinkable Brut IPA. The Brut substyle has generated a lot of interesting IPAs for me.

Copper colour with light haze and no head. Aroma and flavour have weird sweet and spicy notes. Heavy on the clove. Also nutmeg, cinnamon? Awful.

Keg at York Tap. It pours very slightly hazy amber with no head. The aroma is tangy, spoiled fruits, apple, sharp green apple, sour candy, birscher museli. The taste is pretty harsh upfront, sour and acidity, plenty of granny smith apple, apple cider vinegar, baslamico, salt & vinegar crisps, bircher muesli, some pickled onion monster munch, some sour candy and fizzy cola bottles on the back end. Finish is acidic. Medium body and limited carbonation. A bit bloody harsh and acidity, needs reining in. Almost ripped my face clean off.

Keg at Vesuvio, Darlington. Orange gold colour, no lasting head and aroma of custard, spice. Taste is apple pie, cinnamon, spice with wheaty yeasty custard notes and some tartness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tart custardy finish. Quite drinkable.

440ml can from Caps Off, Bishop Auckland. Murky amber gold colour, white foamy head leaving lacing and fruity woody hop aroma. Taste is malt caramel with mellow fruity, apricot, musky bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, mellow finish. Quite drinkable.

440ml can from Caps Off, Bishop Auckland. Hazy orange golden colour, white foam head leaving alittle lacing and tropical fruit hoppy aroma. Taste is malt caramel, oats, tropical fruity, spicy citrus, pine, zesty with a grapey hint, and some bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
