100ml, from a bottle at the first day of Bryggerifestivalen Trondheim 2016. Misty golden body. Low white head, dotted spots on the glass. Sweet gale smell, rather dry. Herbal hops, grass, sweet gale and mid-sweet malty flavours. Bittersweet endnotes. Medium bodied. Decent without further excitements (04.08.2016).

A fine amber color with a nice tan head. Good lacing. Looks good. Powerful aroma. Medium + body and a fine smooth carbonation. Balanced nice sweetness. Holy mama smoke and fire. Heaven and hell baby. Well mostly hell. Fire, wood, tar, fruity and toffee. Solid stuff.

Brun farge med beige skum. Lukter noe krydder og appelsinskall. Krydder også i smak. mild bitter i ettersmak. Lettdrikkelig juleøl.

0.5l bottle from #287. A really good looking one this. Deep dark brown and cloudy in the glass a on on top a good looking deep brown almost creamy head, slowly fading leaving small volcano craters in top of the beer. It has sweet and malty caramel and spiced infused aroma. I almost feel it smells barreled this! Deep rich chocolate and lots of thick roastiness. A mighty and deep nose. It has a thick and oily mouthfeel and it's about average on the creamy carbonation. Really tasty also. It has a lovely depth of flavors. Dark and rich chocolate and roasted malts. Then a dark molasses sweetness combined with dark espresso, sweet licorice and traces of cocoa powder in the tail. Wow, this is actually a superb dark beer. Well done! 23.11.2015

0.5l bottle from #244. Smells really good this one, I have to say. In the glass it's deep copper colored, has a little blur and on top a small quickly islandy scattered beige-yellow head. This is the kind of smoked nose I can appreciate. It has a deep smokiness with a little bit of licorice and darker malts. Also, some dried fruit in this. Smells quite good. It has a soft oily texture in the mouth and it's just below average on the carbonation. Definitely smoked alright. Lots of old rope and tar. Tastes like an oily old wooden boat smells. Not much if the licoroce detected in the taste, but it's sorta leathery in a way. Ends with clear tones of juniper berries. Almost sweet junipers. Lots of flavor in this one, and for a smoked one it's not bad at all. 26.08.2015

50cl bottle reddish brown. No head. Sweet candied apples and toffee along with a very light and pleasant smokiness. Taste is thin, pronounced smoke subsides to a sweet sugary fruity flavor.

Bouteille 500ml au Québec Ratebeer Gathering. Couleur acajou voilée, mousse beige. Arôme de fumée, bois, malt, côté un peu fruité. Goût de fumée, malt, un peu sucré, un peu viandeux, boisé. Carbonatation faible, corps moyen.
