Bottle: Poured a clear copper color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of nice smoky notes with light caramel notes is pretty awesome. Taste is a nice mxi of smoky notes with light peat and woody notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nice dominant smoky notes with some balance with the malt backbone.

Big dark brown head. Opaque black body goes deep dark hazy brown at edges. Earthy spicy mealy aroma with toasted rice notes. Sweetish roasty earthy mealy taste with spicy funky notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish spicy peppery rye aftertaste with earthy mealy notes. Disappointing for Klostergården. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly, Lørenskog. Batch #281.)

Bottle, at Cardinal. A hazy golden beer with a small white head. The aroma has a distinct bog myrtle touch, with a generic fruityness, some caramel and grass. Pine cone hints. It’s medium bodied and a bit heavy on the carbonation, dry, but with a sweetish touch. Bog myrtle, fresh fruits, canned fruits, pale malt notes and some pine cones and grass. Long fruity finish with a subtle bog myrtle touch. Quite nice this one, but a bit heavy on the carbonation and perhaps a tad boring. Refreshing too. 160220

25.01.2016, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet boozy, caramel malts, alcohol, grass, weeds, minerals, raisins, metal tank, dark sugar, bark. Taste is slightly sweet mineraly, sugar, caramel malts, weeds, metal tank, soil, alcohol, burnt caramel, dried dark fruits, bark, harsh grass. Medium bitterness, harsh boozy mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea. At least it needs years in the cellar...
