Our inspiration comes from the world over, but our focus is very much local. We concentrate on making the best beer in styles we love, for the people in our local communities. Our passion for the North West is paid back tenfold. We have local landlords who buy whatever we make, no matter the style - from barleywine to grisette - we’re really lucky that so many places support us because they like our beers, and their customers love to try anything local. The people we look up to are all the brewers who are never content with the beers that they’re making - you can always be better.

375ml bottle. Didn't have the base beer so no comparison for me, however the 2024 edition was really good and I assume similar.
Pours a hazy brown with a beige head. Aroma of dried fruits, raisins, caramel, whisky. Taste is sweet, rich, loads of dried fruit character, fruit cake, raisins, figs, dates, prunes etc. caramel, oaky and whisky notes coming through, warming alcohol. Full bodied, smooth. Really nice.

Wigan Beer Festival 2026, Beer#13. Mildly hazed golden coloured brew. Tropical fruit and pine is abundant in aroma, with the latter dominant in taste. Although it's full tasting its texture is a tad weak compared to this.

Can from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pineapple, white bread and mango. Flavour of pine, pineapple and salted orange. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. This is delicious and hoppy although I think if it was slightly stronger it would have been even better.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Semi opaque dark brown beer, good bubbly tan head. Airy palate, fairly smooth and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Smooth dark malts, a nice light bodied dark malt cream. Mellow chocolate and a whisper of nuttyness. Soft dark fruits on the back end along with very mild dark chocolate Malteasers. Comes together well.

From keg at Pien Shop, Helsinki.
POured hazy and light orange in color.
Mostly some sweet candy and ripe kiwi notes in aroma and flavor. Long sweet finish. Meh. Not very fresh i am afraid.
