Our inspiration comes from the world over, but our focus is very much local. We concentrate on making the best beer in styles we love, for the people in our local communities. Our passion for the North West is paid back tenfold. We have local landlords who buy whatever we make, no matter the style - from barleywine to grisette - we’re really lucky that so many places support us because they like our beers, and their customers love to try anything local. The people we look up to are all the brewers who are never content with the beers that they’re making - you can always be better.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, a mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin but smooth pale malts, fairly sweet I think, not always easy to tell when you have loads of a hop like Dolcita in the mix. Sabro like coconut with a little ripe pineapple and that limey Sorachi thing going on, very loud and very clear. Cooling pine. Maybe a trace of Cashmere melon, if I didn't know it was here, well... Light and mildly dry finish. A decent pale ale that certainly delivers the bonkers Dolcita.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear and slightly pale gold beer, small bubbly off white head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied pale malts, sweet enough all the same. Cooling pine. Fair bit of melon here, Cashmere I suspect, has a light candyish tone. Some unexpected red and black berries on the back end. Light crisp finish. Hmm, was not expecting this flavour profile but, I'm digging it man.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Hazy gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, a very mild dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth pale malts, a nice level of sweetness. Riwaka and its exotic hard-to-pin down fruits dominate the hop profile. A touch of Alora bergamot on the back end. Lots of cooling pine. Nice pale ale very Riwaka.

Probably the last of the seasonal loopy-juice efforts still hanging around from the festive period, but a happy find as I've had several of this series before. This version is black with minimal head, sticky-sweet in texture, dark malty in taste with hints of liquorice enhancing the experience. You can feel the booze effect in the body, but it's relatively well hidden in the supping process for its strength.
