Golden yellow with small, short-lasting head and mild effervescence. Peach, mango, sour milk, biscuit malt, and straw. Moderately sweet peach, mango, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter hay and alcohol flavor. Light body. Drinkable - not as harsh as the Watermelon Kiwi and better than the average malt liquor but the positives end there.

On our ramble through the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, we stopped at Old Talbott Tavern to have a Hot Brown, a local dining delicacy. I picked Cougar Bait Blonde to go with it, a cold pint pour. Not a bad tasting beer, there was straw, a bit of citrus, some maltiness and mineral-free water. I would take another one anytime.

This batch is listed as 12.4% abv. Can. Pours deep brown. Smells of bourbon, toffee, and vanilla. It’s a malty brew with a bourbon rich flavor with caramel, vanilla, and chocolate. Full bodied, this is a very enjoyable sipper.
