Old rating - Review from 20/10/2014. My first beer from this Guernsey's first micro brewery, from the cask at the Forum in St Helier, Jersey. Web site description reads as follows - Our zesty pale ale has been crafted with pride, in support of The Eleanor Foundation. With a pure golden colour and gentle effervescence, this is a true summertime beer. Carefully selected hop varieties have been used to provide a light floral aroma which mingles amicably with the subtle honeyed sweetness. Refreshing, yet with a generous length of flavour, this well-balanced seasonal brew is an appealing addition to our range. It didn't appeal to be partially zesty to my taste buds, but it did go down well and is something I'd be more than happy to have again.

Old rating - A beer from the neighbouring island of Guernsey that I've been looking forward to trying for a while. A 500ml bottle poured into a German style Hefe-weizen glass. A lovely dark hazy amber colour with a white lively head. Aromas of citrus, grapefruit & hops. Medium bitterness. Overall a very good IPA. Different bottle of beer in my home No. 1952

Cask at Great British Beer Festival 2019 - London. Pours clear amber with a small, foamy topping. Fair stuff, with notes of sun-kissed pale malts, light citrus peel, modest bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with notes of pale grains and citrus peel. So so overall.

Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford Pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Nose is avague aroma of grains with a hint of spice. In the mouth, it starts off sweetish before bitterness of flowery hops and lemon come through. There’s honey in there too. Finish is dry with some lemon and grapefruit. A nicely balanced golden ale.
