Gravity cask at the 2018 Nottingham Beer Festival, Motorpoint Arena. Light to mid-gold with visible natural carbonation, and a loose ring of white head. Its got a strange spicy/sulphur aroma with a grainy character. A bit strange and hard to pin down. Sweet taste at the very first, then I'm blindsided by the intense astringency that increases to the long finish. Suggestions of lemon and honey in the aftertaste. While this is usually the sort of beer I do not like, I have to admit it's got a great balance and makes for easy drinking.

Cask at GBBF 2015 - London. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. The aroma holds pale grains, light melon, pale bread. Light sweet flavour with notes of tangerine, hay, melon, bready pale malts, light bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; tidy condition. Good balance in the finish, more pale bread, rounded citrus fruits, hay. Nice one.
