Description
Based in Stourbridge, West Midlands, we have a range of 5 core cask beers, as well as producing monthly specials and a selection of keg beers.

Our own bar operates within the brewery itself, separated by a glass partition, so you can enjoy your pint whilst seeing exactly where it was brewed!

Cask at the Green Duck brewery, Stourbridge. Pours gold with a small head. Aroma is straw and passionfruit. Taste has passionfruit to start and a bitter mango finish.

Cask @ New Oxford, Salford. Not fully black but getting there, with a frothy head. The coconut is light but certainly evident in both aroma and taste with possible a hint of spice too with some very light roasted malt evident.

Cask at Anchor; opaque dark brown pour with a thin creamy light tan head, aroma has mint chocolate, taste has some burdock, chocolate, some herbal action, nice.

Cask at Cherry Reds; light golden yellow pour with a creamy white head, citrus aroma, taste has sweet malts, biscuit, light bitterness.

Cask at Cherry Reds, Brum. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is liquorice and a little vinegar. Taste has chocolate and liquorice. Didn’t really get the coconut or cardamon. Not in the best condition.

Cask @ Bar Fringe, Manchester. Blonde with a small head. The ginger is evident but extremely light and not overbearing - it’s actually very easy drinking.

Cask @ Bar Fringe, Manchester [311014]
Black, thin tan head
Aroma of soft roast, slight dark fruit
Taste of dark malts, soft dark chocolate, soft roast, touch of dark fruits, tastes slightly sour - may have been standing in the line for a while
Palate - Light to medium body, light sweet, bit thin.
Overall - Served rather warm, not in great condition

Cask at the Birmingham CAMRA festival 2014. Poured a clear amber with a reddish orange hue. The aroma is woody resin hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a dry spicy earthy wood resin hop palate and a short bitter finish. Moderate to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Birmingham CAMRA festival 2014. Poured a clear medium amber with a round white head. The aroma is skunky malt, light plasticine. The flavour is light bitter with a fruity hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.
