Description
Started brewing in 1986 based on Victoria St in Douglas when they were known as Bushy's Brewpub. A need for extra capacity caused a move to their current location the Mount Murray Brewery in 1990 with the plant coming from the defunct Brighton Brewery.

Appearance: Clear dark brown color with a creamy tan head. Good lacing.
Aroma: Mild malty and mild fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and a mild bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Deep caramel malty and mild fruity.
Overall impression: Plain and easy drinkable.
Personal stats: On tap at Rovers Return in Douglas, Isle of Man.

Cask at NWAF, 2013. Reddish-brown pour with a beige head. Fresh aroma- chocolate and raisin. Crisp clean taste. Not bad.

Cask (gravity) @ Hop Pole Inn, [ Hop Pole Beer Festival & Aylesbury Brewhouse Grand Opening 2011 ], 83 Bicester Road, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England HP19 9AZ.Clear medium to dark amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, sweet orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. From cask at Bon Accord. Pours cloudy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light fruity. Caramelish, sweet, light toasted and mild fruity. Light bitterness into the finish.
