Description
Started brewing in 1986 based on Victoria St in Douglas when they were known as Bushy's Brewpub. A need for extra capacity caused a move to their current location the Mount Murray Brewery in 1990 with the plant coming from the defunct Brighton Brewery.

Cask at GBBF'23, day three, 03/08/23. Copper to brown pour topped with an off white cap. Nose is biscuit, straw, grains, light herb. Taste comprises brown bread, dark malts, light spice, hedgerow. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay.

Bottled 500ml (from IOM) Amber colour with off-white head. Nutty, caramelly and hoppy aroma. LIght-bodied. Spicey hops, a bit bready and nutty flavours. Easy but solid.

Cask at The HQ Bar, Douglas, IOM. Chesnut colour and creamy off-white head and lace. Light sweet toffeish and malty nose. Light-bodied but bold for its abv. Malty, some berryish sweetness, faint bitterness. Mellow.

Cask at Old Market Inn, Douglas, IOM. Golden colour, firm white head and lace. Sweetish tropical fruits in the nose. Light-bodied. Smooth palate. Sweetish fruits, touch of diacetyl, bitterness in the finish.

Hazy amber, thick white head. Smells hoppy with a little fruit. Flavour follows suit. Hops, a little citrus, a bit of dry malt. Not spectacular but decent.
