Pours a slightly hazy amber from a can, held to a light there's almost a faint rosiness. Aroma is a light pineapple, not heavy-handed, along with a bit of citrus. Similar flavor, along with a bit of breakfast cereal, I'm still trying to figure out what kind. Good beer.

16 oz can bought in Boston. Clear gold color with an off-white head and very good retention. Fair lacing. Good carbonation. Tastes like a German Oktoberfest: Clean, sweet malty lager but very little caramel flavor. 6.5 ABV is well hidden.

Pours a hazy amber from a can, some lacing. Tropical fruit aroma, a little thin, washes out into kind of a bland bitterness with a funky aftertaste. Okay beer.

Poured from can hazy grapefruit with a thin white head. Aromas of grass scallion floral hops and light citrus. Taste is somewhat astringent citrus pith and a dank lingering bitterness. Needs more citrus to balance.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a dark brown almost black color with a finger’s worth of tan foamy head that fell off at a mild pace. Light messy lace.
The aroma had some nutty sweetness up front and then some earthy to grassy dry woodiness, somewhat in the hops.
The flavor brought all of this together and then had a light saltiness in it. Not sure where that came from but being an oyster stout fan, I guess I didn’t mind that. Added a little bit of ash in it right before the aftertaste which had some of that salty to semi-woody dryness. No finish.
The feel was between light and medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Saltiness wasn’t distracting and seemed to not perform so much on the feel of this beer. Carbonation felt fine and the ABV felt fine.
Overall, odd porter or was this supposed to be an oyster stout? I don’t know but honestly if that saltiness was intended, well, it did come through fairly clean.
