Poured into a mug, the appearance was a murky brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a moderate pace. Light stringy lace.
The aroma had some soft sweet biscuits and caramel up front with a light grassy hoppy base.
The flavor blended the previously mentioned aromas together somewhat sweet with a malty dryness penetrating the aftertaste fairly nice. Followed through in the finish with just a bit more toffee, but also a little bit of leather.
The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Light carbonation with a sturdy ABV.
Overall, pretty good brown ale, but where’s the nuts. However, if anything, there weren’t any flaws.

16 oz. can thank you T.J. It does look like an New England style IPA. Aroma shows me weak citrus, soft pale grain, and unrefined yeast.
Flavor has a lasting undeveloped yeast that pretty much kills the good flavor that is here. Some light citrus and light grass but a lot of unfinished yeast. Body is medium with a very light bitterness.

16 oz can, thank you T.J. Clear gold with thin fast dying head. Aroma is caramel, herbs and mild grass. Flavor is a reflection. Citrus and grass mostly.
Bitterness is medium in strength. Body is medium with a normal carbonation level. Overall, better than I thought it would be.
