Super hazy, almost completely opaque straw golden coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall off-whtie frothy head that covers the rich, thick body. Aroma of oranges, grass, hay, flowers (chamomile) and a little dose of pine, all with a nice bitterness noticeable, at least in the nose. Medium-bodied; Rich orangey and grassy flavours show at first with a good deal of malts providing support and a dash of bitterness, but more of a candy finish than the bitterness and alpha acids produce. Aftertaste is rich, very juicy of course, but also giving off a grass/herbal punch that isn't too bitter, but drying and complementary to the malts here. Overall, a nice and very true-to-style beer that encapsulates a real New England IPA, but nowhere close to Imperial Status of course and perhaps the first El Dorado that i've actually enjoyed, but maybe because the nuances of El Dorado really weren't there! Nice to have as the last beer of the month!!! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from GlenRo Spirit Shoppe in Monroe, Connecticut on 18-December-2021 for US$3,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 12-March-2022.

16 oz can. Aroma is without a doubt, watermelon. Nothing else. The flavor shows a good amount of floral hop with an undertone of watermelon. I actually wasn’t expecting what is in my glass. Floral and herb balance the melon. It get points for originality.
