27/9/2024. Cask at St. Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours very dark brown with a small foamy off-white head. Aroma is malty, nutty, chocolate, dark fruits, toasted. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slightly watery, average to soft carbonation. Lightly roasted drying finish. Okay.

Cask at the St Albans beer festival 2024. A hazed mahogany brown coloured pour with a loose beige head. Aroma is earthy, farmyard brown malts, toasted sodden earth, burnt grass. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, earthy dirty malts, farmyard grass, cakey malts, dried fruits, white raisin, , super robust and earthy. Palate is semi sweet, tangy, fizzy, fine carbonation. Robust.

Flavour is composed of semi sweet Fanta orange, pineapple, grass, lemon earthy grainy. Passion fruit. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, moderate carbonation. Pretty decent.
