Cask and just beer Newark. Amber colour with an off white head. Aroma and taste are malty sweet caramel to slight bitter. Medium body.

8/10/2021. Cask at the 43rd Bedford Beer and Cider Festival. Pours slightly hazy straw gold with a small bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma of sweet tropical fruits, orange, citrus, flowers, straw, touch of spice. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, soft carbonation. Dry and bitter finish, earthy sweaty edge. Okay.

8/10/2021. Cask at the 43rd Bedford Beer and Cider Festival. Pours clear dark amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet malt, bread, fruit, touch of spice, earthy edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery texture, soft to flat carbonation. Bitter orange finish. Decent, if lacking a little body.

Cask at GBBF ‘19, day 3, 08/08/19. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent lasting tan head. Nose is dried fruits, toffee, trace of pine. Taste comprises toffee, spice, dark malts, hint of weed, leather, red berry skins, cocoa sprinkle. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close kissed with earthy hop bitterness. Not bad.

Cask at GBBF ‘19, day four, 09/08/19. Golden blonde with a decent off white head. Nose is grass, grains, light fruit esters, touch sulphuric and Burton Snatch offered. Taste comprises faint fruits, grains, twiggy bite, biscuit, crackers. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. So so affair.

Cask at the St Albans Beer festival 2019. A hazed chestnut brown coloured pour with a fine lasting light tan head. Aroma is dried cocoa, oily coco, earthy, tangy berries,. Palate is semi sweet, oily grains, ok condition. Flavour is composed oily chocolate, cakey malts little spicy coffee bean.

Cask at the St Albans Beer festival 2019. A mostly clear nut brown coloured pour with a loose lasting beige head. Aroma is earthy nutty malts, light tangy fruit, toast, hint of powdered choc. Flavour is composed grainy, raw rustic bread tangy sour, earthy malts. Fine. Palate is tangy, earthy, ok cask condition.

Fra cask på GBBF aug-19: brunsvart med ok bobleskum. Lakris, kaffe, tanniner og hint av furunål. Fairly forgettable.

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Hazy deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth and mildly tangy malts. Modest smooth pine. Touch of dark fruits. Light finish. Okay.

Cask (handpump) @ Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, 16 Abbey Mill Lane, AL3 4HE St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England.

[ As Farr Brew Black Listed I.B.A ].
ABV: 4.5%. Clear dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, light roasted - toasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, fruity hops, medium dry, woody - smoky notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
