Bottle shared at Leightons place, 19/01/2017. A clear orange golden coloured pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is sharp lemon, floral herbal hop, semi sweet malts. Flavour is composed dusty light malts, orange rind, grassy, slight age, light pear drops. . Palate is frorhy carbonation, spritzy, semi sweet. Ok.

Cask gravity at the St Albans BEER festival 2016. A hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is rustic grains, pithy lemon, straw. Palate is light and refreshing, decent cask condition. Flavour is light grains. Pithy lemon, apricot. Decent pale.

Cask gravity at the St Albans BEER festival 2016. A dark mahogany brown coloured pour with reddy hues, fading off white head. Aroma is sweet and tangy, red berries, rum and raisin, vanilla little bounty. Flavour is composed of nutty malts, bounty bar, choc and tangy, dried fruits. Woody. Bit loose and rough round the edges. Palate is medium full, sticky, moderate carbonation. Slightly tangy.

Cask gravity at the St Albans BEER festival 2016. Aroma is artifical smooth vanilla, praline, choc, amaretto biscuit, biscotti, A dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting light tan head. Flavour is composed of sweet vanilla, praline, light choc, creme caramel amaretto. Little artificial. Palate is smooth, sweet hint of chilli, milky. Ok.

Cask gravity at the St Albans BEER festival 2016. Slightly hazy nut brown coloured pour with a small off white head. Aroma is veg pepper, tangy, nutty malts, hint of Worcester sauce. Flavour is composed of hot warming chilli, bell pepper, veg, hint of choc. Grainy. Palate is semi sweet, decent cask condition.

Cask gravity at the St Albans BEER festival 2016. A hazed chestnut brown reddy coloured pour with a halo of off white head. Aroma is woody sticky jam, strawberry, toasted malts, nutty, . Flavour is composed of woody piney hop, toasted nuts, strawberry, jammy, grainy dry wood. Palate is semi sweet, sticky, resin, moderate condition . Grainy and a dry finish. Not bad.
