Bottle at Højbjerg tasting. Pours chestnut brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, nut, light chocolate, dark fruit and veg. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Toward medium body, watery texture, average carbonation.

Bottle @ Johns. Pours very dark brown with an offwhite head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, little honey, dark chocolate. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, dark chocolate. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, light sweet finish. 6-4-6-3-12. 170617

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel, nuts and hops. Sweet finish.

Bottle, 5%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, hop and a little dusty. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, hop, little dusty, medium sweet and a little bitter.

Bottle. 5.0 ABV. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Dark brown colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavir. Short light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. 5.0 % ABV. Clear dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 170617

Cask @ Great Northern, St Albans. Black with a very thin creamy head. Fairly smooth tasting with a light appealing washy roasted malt taste, with more stated roasted malts in its nose.

Cask at Great Northern. St Albans on 10th March 2017. Clear amber with disappearing, non-lacing off-white foam. Malty aroma with tangy fruits. Citrus, berries and caramel malt in-mouth. A hint of fresh apple. Spicy and malty finish. Light body and an equally light mouthfeel. A drinkable, and interesting ale.

Bottle at Craigs. Pours ruby brown, nose is caramel, liquorice, chocolate, taste is sweet, light funk, soapy.

Bottle courtesy of cgarvieuk dregs run. Appearance - dark brown to black and fairly opaque. Nose - toffee, molasses even. Brown bread. Taste - great toffee and hazelnut thing going on. General praline. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long elegant finish. Overall - this resembles a Scotch Ale.
