Description
We, Sharp’s Brewery, are a modern brewer of cask and bottled beer based in Rock, Cornwall, and owner of the UK’s number one cask and bottled beer, Doom Bar. We’ve grown rapidly to become the largest brewer of cask beer in the South West.

Sharp's Brewery was founded in 1994 by Bill Sharp. The brewery has been through three phases – from a small micro brewery, to a larger facility within the same building and finally to the current phase that has seen the Brewery extend its premises to accommodate more vessels and increase its brewing capacity. Since 2011, the brewery has been owned by Molson Coors.

RBESG08 Grand Tasting Nice amber colour, white head. Lovely honeyish and hoppy nose. Soft chalky taste, lovely fruity maltiness. Light but quite drinkable. I liked this one quite a lot.

Damn it lost my original description as i typed as i drank ,as id got logged out some how. Overall i prefered it just a little more with the sediment stirred up. From memory. Pour 1 ... clear yellow orange ... piney hops ... juicy tart little sweet honey ... littel spice 3.7 pour 2 ... hazy orange with just a tiny red tinge ... oddly a more subdeued nose but basically the same ... flavout seems a bit more complex with some lime and a tiny bit sweeter honey very tasty 3.8

Cask, some boozer near Leicester Square, London. Struggling to know what to say about this really. Hard to detect much of an aroma. Insipid and watery ;flavour had some vague fruit and hop in there somewhere. Dryish finish. Inoffensive, but prettly average.

Bottle bought at Williams Deli, Nailsworth. Amber in colour with a short-lived off-white head and plenty of carbonation. Aroma was pleasantly earthy with some grassy hops and a hint of dark chocolate. Full, almost prickly mouth feel, with some chewy malt, red fruit and some lively hops in the finish. Very good.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 23/6/08. Reddish-amber with a slight, off-white head. Red fruit and caramel aroma with a touch of earthy hop. Sweet malt aroma with lots more fruit, some nuts and a short bitter finish. Ok.

(Cask at St. Urho’s on 2008-06-11) Dark reddish brown colour. Clear. White middle-sized foamy head. Medium and bit dry palate with some carbonation. Roasted malts in nose. Taste contains roasted malts, sweetness and bitterness. Quite strong-bodied for a real ale.
