Description
We, Sharp’s Brewery, are a modern brewer of cask and bottled beer based in Rock, Cornwall, and owner of the UK’s number one cask and bottled beer, Doom Bar. We’ve grown rapidly to become the largest brewer of cask beer in the South West.

Sharp's Brewery was founded in 1994 by Bill Sharp. The brewery has been through three phases – from a small micro brewery, to a larger facility within the same building and finally to the current phase that has seen the Brewery extend its premises to accommodate more vessels and increase its brewing capacity. Since 2011, the brewery has been owned by Molson Coors.

Cask @ The Old Bell Tavern, London. Cloudy yellow orange with a proper white head. Aroma and taste of peaches, malts and apricots. Low bitterness. Low carbonation. Ok but I’m not sure a NEIPA benefits from being served from a cask.

Keg @ Friends Arms, Carmarthen. Clear golden with a carbonation and a bubbly head for it. Sweet apple in both aroma and taste, middling quality.

Half pint at Rummer Tavern, Cardiff. A copperish to amber pour with a greenish cast. Slightly cloudy. Thin layer of an off-white cream. Aroma is coffee, funky towel, earth. Carbonation isn't there at all. Medium crisp, which renders it rather bland. Good bitterness, though. Abrupt aftertaste with new hints of coffee. Nothing out of this world.

Keg @ Cheddar Woods. This has evaded me until today. Pours clear gold. Back-sweetened medium cider apple aroma. Bland Aspalls flavour profile, moderately sweet, sticky finish. So so.

Cask @ Cheddar Woods. Pours a misty gold, creamy white head. Flavour profile introduces creamy peach melba notes.. surprisingly flavoursome and moreish. Decent.
