Keg draught at the Real Ale Classroom, Leicester city centre. Mid- to dark muddy gold with a ring of white head. Getting a lot of fresh fruit in the aroma: peaches, apricots, tangerines and maybe a touch of pineapple. Taste is similar with loads of Stone fruit at the firs, sweet and creamy. Lighter bitterness in the finish. Residual peach flesh in the aftertaste. Slightly soupy body, soft carbonation. One hell of a winner.

Can from Hydrology. Pours crystal clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light herbal hops, light malt. Taste is malt sweet, with a light astringency at the back.

Can from Cork & Cask. Milky golden body with a white head that holds. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of apricot jam and pastel de nata. Flavour of lemon apricot with a slightly boozy finish. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Jammy and fruity. I like Two By Two - I wish the can labels were more descriptive though; even a note of the hops used would be helpful.

Gravity cask at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Yellow gold, hazy as can be with a noncommittal ring of white head. Lots and lots of melon, some tangerine and pineapple and maybe a hint of mango from the aroma. I'm not getting any hemp, or if I should be in the aroma. Sweetctaste, tonnes of melon and not a small amount of fresh mango. Got a lovely weight to it, possibly a light umami character before the balanced finish. Full body with soft carbonation. I don't like all of Two by Two's output this much, but when they nail it they really nail it.

Keg draught at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Peachy gold, hazy with a small uneven off-white head. Smells of strong biscuity malt, stone fruit, tangerine. Sweet initial taste, big apricot notes. This gets swiftly washed away with a more balanced flavour and notes of caramel. Medium to long finish. Medium to thick body for the ABV with carbonation on the heavy side. Unusual but it's nice to try something not quite run of rhe mill.

330ml can - Pours a hazy lemon yellow colour with a good sized foamy white head. The aroma is grapefruit with some tropical fruit notes. A fruity and moderately bitter taste, grapefruit, orange peel and tropical fruit flavours on a pale malt base with a drying bitter finish.

Cask at White Horse, Hedgerley, Bucks. A dark ruby brown coloured pour with a very thin bubbly beige head on top. Raspberry, blackberry, plum taste and aroma. Quite fruity as expected. I really like this brewery but this particular cask had seen better days.

Nelson actually doesn't come on super strong here. Murky yellow pour with decent head. Big green onion hop tang in the finish. Tap at Craft Beers Co.
