330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, July 24. Pours a slightly misty copper, off-white head atop. Aroma of caramel and orange peel. Has a creamy doughy brioche side to taste, noticeable orange notes with a weighty sweetness. Nice introduction to this brewery.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, July 24. Pours black with a modest tan head. Interesting dark ale with a confident hoppy character complimenting some nicely grainy dark malt.. not quite a black IPA at times, but definitely quite hoppy for a stout.

Gravity cask at Fishers 2nd birthday bash, Fishers brewery HWY, 27/07/19. Black with a well presented tan head. Nose is mellow coffee, roast malts, cocoa powder, light spice. Taste comprises coffee beans, roast malts, charr, dried fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light dryness in the close. Decent coffee porter.

Tap at the nano brewery in the sun, 4th August 19. Pours black, to head to speak of. Aroma is liquorice, light coffee, chocolate truffles. Taste is mellow coffee, light liquorice, caramel, coffee. Really pleasant porter

Tap in the garden at the nano brewery, 4th August 19. Pours slightly cloudy straw colour. Aroma is spruce, peach, yeast, floral. Taste is smooth, medium bitter, quite dry, floral, citrus, grapefruit. Really very nice.

Tap in the brewery garden, 4th August 19. Pours a pleasant hazy straw colour. Aroma is peach and light citrus. Taste is pineapple, light citrus, and peach, nice dirty bitter finish. Not bad.

Cask Egham.Filter coffee aroma, I.e. if you shiff the filter. Dark. Patchy bubbly light beige head. Medium bitter - some decent strength to it. Sour berries in the finish. Light bodied. Thin. Flat. Astringent finish. It could be a cold black coffee. Is that good or bad? Not so much an alcopop but an alcoffee. Different I guess.

ABV: 5.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, open and fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, strong coffee, coffee beans. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, coffee, strong coffee, dusty coffee, coffee beans, dark malt, chocolate - coffee. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190801]
