Pours hazy with a white head
A - slight sour aroma
F - slight citrus/sour twang along with a bready body of a typical lager.
I wasnt expecting to like this much when I poured and smelt it, I'm not generally a fan of lagers but I have to say that this one surprised me. The citrus character, whether thats from hops or yeast I'm not sure, adds quite a lot and elevates it above many other lagers.

330ml bottle BBE 4 weeks ago. Look - dark gold/light amber, moderate sized off-white frothy head which lasts and leaves a lot of lacing. Nose - bready malts, citrus orange and floral grassy notes. Taste - malty, brown bread, citrus and grapefruit, some citrus peel zest with a fair bitterness in the finish. Palate - good medium body for a 4.1%, fairly smooth, high carbonation - I would have preferred it slightly softer. I may not be drinking this at its freshest but you can tell its a well made session beer.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe, online. Cloudy bright gold, brief white head, carbonation sticking to the glass. Looks like a cider! Aroma has grainy malts, with a toffee edge, citrus and pine noted hops, some yeast. Ok but not exciting. Taste is light semi-sweet chewy malts, caramel, citrus, grapefruit, modest bitterness with a light pine-floral note. Nice smooth body, soft carbonation. I think this would be better on cask than bottle conditioned.

Bottle thanks muchly to my SisInLaw who has an uncanny knack of finding beers I've not had. Cheers! Light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly white head. Light palate, reasonably smooth and mildy dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, a light creamy sweetness. Hops are soft pine and modest but fairly bright generic citrus, whisper of mango. Nice balance here and once again with this brewery, I feel that they have a good foundation for a more substantial IPA, well something beyond session IPA.

Bottle thanks muchly to my SisInLaw who has an uncanny knack of finding beers I've not had. Cheers! Almost clear gold beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is light and mildly dry with a good fine minerally crispness. Nice bready malts, clean and flavoursome with a nice lager tang. Crisp hops, typically light and slightly floral citrus, a decent piney crispness as well. Light crisp finish. A very refreshing and clean lager. If the hoppage could be turned up a notch or two, it could be superb.
