Description
Founded in 2017 Three Hills Brewing is experimental at it’s core. We produce small batches, in a variety of styles, pushing boundaries to create the most interesting drinks we can for our customers to enjoy.

Our HQ is based in the countryside of Northamptonshire where we have 600l system, counter pressure canning machine, laboratory, barrel ageing program & cold store.

In 2020, we expanded into The Outpost, a new brewery with taproom on the Bermondsey beer mile.

Three Hills entered liquidation in May 2025.

Can. Just a very light haze on this orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a lovely light honeyish sweetness, like a hot gold but richer. Hops present with crisp cooling pine and light but, nibbly hop spice. Rich but light stone fruits and tropical fruits, ripe. Light smooth finish. Quite a ripe dipa but fruity and very drinkable.

Can shared at the CBJ tasting, acquired from an online peddler whom I can't recall, 18/10/23. Light black with a khaki cap that veers to the edge. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, custard essence. Taste comprises cocoa sprinkle, tangy dried fruit rinds, dark malts, more tang than sweet. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable affair ... has an overwhelming tangy edge about it that kills off the good lord custard!

440ml can taken away from Beerfly, Bedford. Very dark brown and opaque with a short-lived brown head. Treacle, light pumpkin/squash notes on the aroma. Similar taste, very very sweet with light squash notes over a bed of blackened sugar. Thick, thick body with slightly heavy carbonation. Insanely sweet but insanely good.
