From cask at Goose Island Shoreditch Deep ruby dark brown colour lasting beige head well its got the sweetness of a barleywine. lots of wood character no doubt. it has some smoothness. some nougat. just a little lacking in finesse. some caramel some sweetness. some heat on finish . some liquid caramel is attractive but some harshness too which isn't. light caramel biscuit flavour. decent grew on me.

On tap at Goose Island Shoreditch Cloudy to turbid deep orange thin white head. strawberry flavour no doubt. some sweetness but balanced with a little sour bitterness too. jammy strawberry like you would get on a cheesecake. confectionary strawberry flavour. yes it's fine. the strawberry is very present but not like a sticky sweet Belgian. base beer is an OK light pale ale. its quite good as I do like a fake strawberry sweetness.

Good tropical fruit. lots of pineapple strongestin terms of abv. but no burn just a warmth. sorry forgot it was a dipa. pretty impressive. a little light on malts. but hops are good. Good bitter finish. pineapple and grapefruit. Good.
