Description
Established since 2002, Blindmans Brewery can be found at Talbot Farm in Somerset amongst the cows. The brewery is a five barrel plant in a converted Milking Parlour. The brewery is fairly unique in having its own exclusive water spring which is carefully quality controlled, guaranteeing consistency. All ingredients are procured locally wherever possible, with malt supplied by Warminster Maltings, traditionally germinated on open floors in a process spanning centuries.

Cask, half-pint at Old Green Tree. Shared with Finn. Filmy layer, misty amber-gold body. Minimal lacing. Ripe fruity aroma, mid-sweet. Similar taste of ripe fruits, hints of biscuit. Distant bittersweet finish. Accepted. (Bath 27.10.2019).

[ As Old Green Tree Ale ].
ABV: 3.9%. Clear medium orange amber colour with a small average, frothy and open, good to fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, pale malt, sweet malt, light toffee - butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration, butterscotch, hay, sweet malt, pale malt, light caramel, light sharp bitter - harsh. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190723]

ABV: 3.8%. Clear medium to light orange - amber yellow colour with a small to average, open and frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, hay, butterscotch notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, fruity hops, hay, pale malt, sweet malt, sharp. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190723]

Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, brown sugar, caramel - toffee - butterscotch, sweet malt, caramel, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
