Cask, half-pint, shared with Finn at The Raven. Deep rosewood coloured body, filmy off-white layer leaving clingy lacing on the glass. Slightly roasted malty nose, hints of earth and leaves. Dark doughy flavours with moments of caramel malts. Finish of with a drop of fruity bitterness. Satisfying (Bath 03.05.2017).

Clear pale golden colour, thin foamy white head, dissipates quickly, minimal lacing. Aroma pear, white grapes, light lemon. Taste light sweet and bitter, light fruity, dusty. Quite thin dry and light citrusy aftertaste, light-bodied, watery texture, flat carbonation, too thin for me.

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. The pale malts bring minor grain. Some sulphur here. Modest orange and orange peel. Light dry finish. Meh!
