We are an award-winning, independent brewery and have been brewing since 1992. We are run by a family of craft beer fanatics and our aim is to create the most delicious and flavoursome beers possible.

Founded in 1992 at Ford Airfield, Arundel Brewery specialised in traditional cask ales. Under new 2014 ownership, they expanded to Lyminster Road in 2019, opening The Brewhouse Project. For a while, they simultaneously brewed at both locations. Now fully consolidated as the Arundel Taphouse and no longer using The Brewhouse Project name.

Cask at the Willow Walk, JDW - London. Pours clear, light brown with a frothy, tan head. Lightly tangy berries in the nose, hints of toasted malts and smoke. Medium sweet flavor with light smokey notes, accents of toffee, more tangy berries, plum. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with bready sugars, a little toast, berries, minimal bitterness, mellow smoke. Not bad overall.

Cask, on gravity at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol October 2015. Dark brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Toasty malts, a touch of liquorice, masses of smokiness and a dryish finish. A bit extreme for me.

Cask at the King and Queen, Tourist Town Zentrum, 30/10/15. Rich mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is light smoked malt, brown bread, toffee, candied fruit. Taste comprises fruit loaf, toasted brown sugar, earthy hop undercrackers, sweet malt, caramel, light smoke. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a subtle smokers jacket. Decent well balanced smoked porter.

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. A mahogany colour with a thin beige aroma; a subtle woodsmoke aroma; and a similarly gentle smoky taste with some coffee and Pontefract cake; then a dry, moreish finish. Rather thin, but nicely smoked.

Cask handpull at Victoria Station Spoons. Cola colour beer lasting cream head. Smoke on aroma. Light sausage smoke. A little dark fruit. Dark plums. Juicy and tasty. Hides abv well. Some smoke on the finish. Good rauch.

Cask @ Paramount, Manchester. A very dark ruby red with a small creamy off-white head. Smoked in its aroma, and even more so in taste, where the ham flavour gets very stated too. Has a very palatable texture for its strength with flavours lingering long.

Cask handpull at the Crosse keys, city Jdw. Nice deep reddy amber coloured pour with a lasting cream coloured head. Aroma is nice smoked sausage, chorizo, some Islay malts. Flavour is semi sweet malts, caramelised maple glazed sausage, grain store, nutty malts, grain husks. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation, grainy. Tasty smoked beer.
