I Draught /I Good tan head; black beer. Nutty, walnut cake, sweet, portwine, roast. Sweet-dry, hay, straw. Mild roast in the flavour, bit of charcoal. Some fruity esters too. Bit burning MF, medium carbonation, quite slick, gristslick. Tad sweet, no? Long-lasting flavours, good, but for a Porter...?

(Keg at Kaisla, 20190725) The beer pale golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, fruitiness, grain, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was grainy, malty and bitter. A tasty grainy brew.

Tap @ SOPP 2019. Poured golden in color with a dense white head. Malty aroma, grainy and quite sweet. Flavors were malts, grain, sweetness, hay and hops. Drinks well. Slightly hoppy for a doppelbock, but overall a really nice strong lager.
