Bottle, 75cl, courtesy of Ungstrup.A hazy, orange-golden beer with a small, off-white head. Citrusy nose, mostly orange, with pale malts. Orange juice, pale malts, some sweetness and a little acidity in the flavor. Dry mouthfeel. There’s some bitterness in the finish, but not enough, dry and citrusy. It’s a very acidic one considering it’s an IPA, but quite drinkable. 090821

From tap at brewpub, 12 year anniversary night. Pours dark brown to black with a small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate and light liqourice. Distinct liqourice hoppy flavoured with a smooth roasted and chocolate malt base flavour. Vague acidic note into a lingering smooth malty finish.

Draft at the brewpub. A deep red beer with a thin lazing beige head. THe aroma has strong notes of caramel, medium notes of malt, and light notes of yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and yeast, as well as light notes of alcohol, leading to a dry finish where light notes of chocolate mixes in with the caramel. The alcohol tickles the palate. Very easily drinkable.

Cloudy deep blond color. Strange aroma, herbal, fruity, flowery; with plastic too. Sweetish flavor, some malt and coriander, some oranges, yeasty. Clear alcohol punch. Confused and confusing.

From tap at brewpub. Pours clear and golden amber to deep orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is raspberry citrusy fruity. Sweet flavoured, light sulphorish and mild citric. Vague smoke accent. Lingering sweet fruity and persisting sulphorish. Strange due to the sulphorish note - although with hints of a good fruit beer.
