8/8/2019. Cask at the 2019 Great British Beer Festival. Pours clear pale gold with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts, hops, fruit, flowers and butter. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, average to soft. bit of veg in the finish. Not so keen.

ABV: 4.7%. Clear medium to light lgiht dark orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, herbs, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. fruity malt, pale malt, herbs, fruity hops, light licorice hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Cask at Steel Tank, Chandler's Ford. Vague malty aroma. Dark amber. Thick frothy head. Light bitter backed up by malts and some spice. Caramel in the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long finish. Decebt stuff. Really drinkable.

[ As Flowerpots Gyle 1500 ].Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, fruity malt, caramelized malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity malt, caramelized malt, caramel, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at Albion, Winchester. Mocha aroma. Dark cola brown. Thin creamy beige head. Light bitter with a dark berry streak. Creamy coffee then comes through into the finish. Mesium bodied. Thin cream. Flat. Long finish which takes on an astringent element. Decent enough porter - the creamy coffee lifts it.

Cask (Southampton Beer Festival 2018) - Amber in colour. Peach, dried apricot, orange and caramel in the aroma. Nicely balanced taste with dried apricot, aniseed, biscuity malt and sultanas.
