Bottle 50 cl. 9.2% ABV in this version according to the label. Pours a murky, dark brown with a light brown head. Sweet roast nose, a little vanilla and a whiff of booze. Rich, sweet body, cocoa, no harsh roast, vanilla and booze from the Bourbon - no oak. Hardly any bitterness at all. I find it like candy in a bottle - delicious. 271017

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy opaque deep golden with a creamy and lacing off-white head. Fruity, yeasty and slightly phenollic aroma. Medium body, again fruit galore, phenols now being more pronounced, somewhat unclean and flawed in it's flavour. Those Saison yeasts can be quite the bitch. 271017

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy orangey brown with a lacing, off-white head. There IS pleasant Sorachi in the nose, with the very delicate coconut aromas - I just wish it was even more. Medium body, super dry, slight nuttiness with a distinct, late bitterness. Again super clean and well made with no flaws whatsoever. Brown Ale is just not an interesting base for the king of hops - Sorachi! 241017

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a dense, white head that leaves some lacework. Fruity, yeasty nose - clean, no phenols. Medium body, again pleasantly clean and un-phenollic, both yeasty and pleasantly fruity with a surprising hop bite in the finish. Not a style I'm a fan of, but the beer is really well made and a pleasant drinking experience. 241017
