Can. An unclear dark brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma is rather sweetish, with lactose and maple. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee and some alcohol. It's full bodied, sweet and lightly cloying on the palate, nicely carbonated, and with a decent bitterness. Sweetness prevails though. The flavor has some coconut in addition to the sweetness found in the aroma. Roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate and a touch of dark dried fruit. Lasting sweet finish. Too sweetish this one. 240430

Can. An unclear dark brown one, topped by a small beige head. The aroma is roasted and lightly burnt, with some oats, coffee, vanilla and coconut. It's full bodied, lightly warming and nicely carbonated, semi sweet and with a decent bitterness. The flavor has roasted malts, coffee, licorice, some dark dried fruit and alcohol. Hints of coconut and lactose. Lasting finish. Finally a lactose brew that isn't all about the cloying sweetness. 240430

Bottle 0.33l, trade with Camons, thanks René! Almost four years aged. Lightly cloudy, red to black colored. AROMA- bourbon, wood, dark chocolate, cocoa nibs, slightly sour cherry. FLAVOR- smooth, slightly sweet, lightly bitter, warming, bourbon, sour cherry in chocolate, wood. Fuller bodied. Very good.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Near black, no head. Aroma of coconut and vanilla, some caramel. Very sweet with cloying syrup, boiled milk and artificial sweetener. Coconut and vanilla in milk chocolate and syrup. Cloying and infantile.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is liquroice, alcohol and some chocolate. Flavour is chocolate, some liquorice, some vanilla, syrup and mild wooden and syrupy tones.
