Description
As a lover of hand-crafted ales and a desire to create my own product, I decided it was time the Falkland Islands had its own brewery.
So in 2012 Falkland Beerworks was born.
My aim is to produce high quality, natural and consistently first-rate ales using quality ingredients and traditional methods. All with your and my enjoyment in mind.

Golden ale from a brewery in the Falkland Islands, "great with fish 'n' chips" and named after a penguin species - sampled from a tiny bottle at tderoeck's place, cheers Tim! Normally shows a medium thick, opening, snow white head, but my sample was already dead - with a pale golden robe with rosy tinge. Aroma of ripe pear, peach 'jenever' without the alcohol, honey, brioche, apple peel. Sweetish onset, fruity notes of ripe apple and pear, soft carb, slick body; thinnish cereally, bit brioche-like core, acquiring a slight white-peppery bitterness in the finish, but subtly so. Simple and straightforward even for a golden ale, but drinkable. Doubtlessly a lot better when fresh.

Sampled at Tim's place, huge thanks! Clear pale yellow color, no head. Aroma is malts, lightly floral. Flavor is malts, again lightly floral, blossomy, distant apple peel, light to moderately bitter. Drinkable.

Jasne zlociste w typowo brytyjskim stylu. Metnawe ze stabilna piana, lekko kwaskowe, wytrawne i jak mocna nazwa zobowiazuje to takie wlasciwie jest, hmielne i goryczkowe klasycznie i cytrusowe zarazem
