Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: semi-hazy golden color with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head. Dissipated and left some light lace
Aroma: combines some stone fruits, light pine, citrusy tones, orange hoppiness, cracker-like malts
Flavor: combines all the prior mentioned aromas bittersweetly; lean aftertaste of stone fruits, and orange hoppiness
Texture: light to medium bodied, semi-sessionable, somewhat smooth but somewhat not, finishes semi-smooth citrusy bright
Overall: to me, this seemed more of an AIPA but hmmm...no dates anywhere on the can. Hmmm...well, I liked this enough for me, so I know I'd get again.

Thanks Drew!
Can to lager glass.
Appearance: golden color with a three finger white foamy head that took it's time to dissipate. Mild messy lace
Aroma: brisk clean biscuity/cracker malts, subtle straw/hay/grassy hops
Flavor: semi-sweet malty tones rounding out some grassy hops, sly malty aftertaste
Texture: light bodied, extremely sessionable, very smooth, finishes crisp and malty
Overall: nicely done German pilsener worthy to return to.

Can from Loz's advent calendar that I curated for her, this was yesterday's beer, so Day 20 but consumed on Day 21. Consumed at home Sunday 21st December 2025 after meeting up with Kerry, Oli and family at the International Weihnachtsmarkt in Bayerisch Eisenstein, we're listening to A Certain Ratio - Forcepours. We had Clams, Feta, Chorizo in a rich tomato and onion sauce. Pours hazy warm gold with a white head. Nice aroma but weak, there's a little bit of tropical fruit. Taste is also more tropical but with a leaning towards citrus, fairly pedestrian, the hops are not really singing here, though without checking it could be past its best from a freshness perspective. Score 6.8

2 month old pint can
A: Hazy pale gold with a big lasting head and spotty lace.
S: Sweet citrus zest and pith along with tart berries and wafer cookies.
T: Bittersweet flavors of grapefruit pith, lemon zest and sour berries over mild woody malts and a hint of sugar.
M: Frothy carbonation and light body with a lightly astringent finish.
O: Not as dry as advertised and expensive as hell, but quite tasty.

A big grapefruit, peach and citrus nose. A fluffy, well laced white head over a dense, straw body. No filtering here. Lovely peach first hoppy flavour. Melon, grapefruit, lemon and orange notes round out the profile. Fresh and well refined, but not biting or astringent. Really well crafted
