Tried at Peterborough Beer Festival 2016. Deep ruby black colour with a thin tan head. Aroma berries and chocolate. Taste light roasted malt and sweet.

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Extremely dark and reddish-brown with a thin head. Has roasted malts in its nose with a sweetness, with mainly sweetened dark malts in taste.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 9/6/2016. Golden in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Some floral hop character, light malts, a touch of stone fruit, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Good

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 9/6/2016. Near black, with a decent, off-white, head. Plenty of chocolate character, a touch of coffee, and some leafy hops, before a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Cask. Gravity dispense. Barrow Hill jamboree. Cola colour. Film of tan head. Nose has tangy, vine fruit. Some bitter coffee. Thin body. Coffee grind bitter finish.

Cask at the Rail Ale Festival Chesterfield, 2016. Poured a dark brown colour with a round light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, creamy caramel, toffee, chocolate, light coffee. The flavour is moderate sweet with a light sweet malt, fruit, chocolate palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at Chesterfield Rail Ale Jolly with RB crew; hazy brown pour off white head, dark roast aroma with a hint of chocolate, taste has roast malt and stewed fruit, not cool.
