Description
Our brewery is located in a modern building on the family farm at Deanshaugh, Amulree, Dunkeld. The custom built brewery consists of the following: A preparation area and a Brew House containing the 10BBL brewplant. A Fermentation Room with three Fermentation vessels and a Conditioning Room with three Conditioning tanks and temperature controlled cask storage area for our finished products.

Martin Procter, director and head brewer, died suddenly while delivering his own beer in October 2021.

Cask at The Currie Inn, Killin. Apple in the aroma. Quite clear caramel. Rather bold in flavour with a long lasting and at times quite mature and pleasant bitterness. Decent session choice, bang for buck.

Cask at GBBF 2016. Pours clear golden to amber with a white head. Aroma: sweet-ish, grains, stone fruits, floral. Taste: light sweet & bitter, dry, bread, floral, orange, lemon, grass spicy hop. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2017, [ Great British Beer Festival 2017 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.[ As Strathbraan Look West ].Clear medium yellow colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity, light apple - pale apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, apple, sweet malt, fruity hops, frutiy malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20170808] 5-3-5-3-11

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light hoppy, fruity hops, earthy notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, cookie - biscuit malt, pale malt. GBBF Day 1. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, good bubbly white head. Palate is light, dry and has a decent fine carbonation. Dry malts, modest sweetness. Touch of honey. Dry floral citrus with citric peel underneath. Finishes dry and bitter and orange pithy. A dry and bitter gold. Hard to get excited about.
