Cask at GBBF’17, day one, 08/08/17. Clear golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is melon, straw, toasted grains, drop of honey. Taste comprises orange peel, melon, light bread, grains, lemon drizzle. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok golde.

Cask at the GBBF 2017. Day 3. 10/08/2017. A. Clear. Golden orange coloured.. A raisin honey aroma, diacetyl,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet malt, toffee. Hedgerow. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, moderate carbonation. Meh.

Cask at GBBF. It pours clear golden - amber with a small white head. The aroma is quite muted, toasty grain, cereal, porridge and white bread. The taste is dry, straw, grassy, grainy, earthy, cereal and soapy citrus with a drying finish. Light - medium body and soft carbonation. Basic gold by all accords.

Third of a cask pint at the Scottish Real Ale Festival in Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange on 7th July 2017. Nice red hue to the copper body, white head that faded away a bit swiftly. The aroma had malts and fruits playing with each other, the taste similar: caramel and oranges came to mind as I sipped my glass. Decent.

Clear amber beer, thin white head. Light citrus in the smell and taste. Flavour has a bit of dry, bitter hop and some maltiness to it as well. This is a bit run of the mill but it’s crisp and refreshing.

Cask at GBBF’16, day three, 11/08/16. Golden orange with a well appointed off white head. Nose is mellow citric rinds, straw, melon, soft bread. Taste comprises toasted grains, orange, melon, straw, bread dough, pale malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Whelming.

Bottle from The Inverurie Whisky Shop. It pours clear rich brown with a medium white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, toffee, caramel, dried fruits, brown bread and malt loaf. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, fruit cake, dried fruits, malt loaf, earthy, wood, leather, resin and light spice with a dry, woody finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent bitter bier.
