Description
Canteen Brewhouse is proud to be Albuquerque’s longest-standing brewery, serving our first beer back in 1994. Over the years, we’ve won over 150 local, national and international awards, but we’re most interested in our loyal following of folks who share the same passion for great beer. Join us at the Canteen Brewhouse or Canteen Taproom for a pint, or take home a six-pack, crowler or growler. We want you to believe in beer, too!

@ brewery canteen. Hazy light gold. Winey, slightly floral aroma. The florals come through like in a good honey. Bitter taste - lean with minimal malts. Spicy, floral honeyed hops. This really works, the hops with this malt character.

2007 vintage at ABQ Beer Fest. Rather black. Shows age right away in its oxidized roast malt nose with some burnt fruits. Very rich, inky. Smooth dark malts. Big dark fruit. Good stout.

Slightly hazy light copper. Earthy, grapefruity big hop aroma. Earthy with very rich bitterness. Almost a bit too much - this is a burly IPA.

Cask at GBBF 2011, Day 2. Pours dark, amber-gold with a bubbly, white head. Big citrus hop aroma, some bits of grapefruit and melon - nice. Flavor is alright, not as good as the nose. Notes of caramel, ripe citrus. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Light warming finish, light resinous hops, good notes of citrus and pine. Very good beer.

Draft. Hazy orange body with a short, off-white head. Aroma of grain, grapefruit, pine with notes of grass and caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, slightly syrupy texture and lively carbonation. Taste of grain and resin. In fact, too grainy and rough around the edges.
