Description
Canteen Brewhouse is proud to be Albuquerque’s longest-standing brewery, serving our first beer back in 1994. Over the years, we’ve won over 150 local, national and international awards, but we’re most interested in our loyal following of folks who share the same passion for great beer. Join us at the Canteen Brewhouse or Canteen Taproom for a pint, or take home a six-pack, crowler or growler. We want you to believe in beer, too!

Brown with a thin head. Hardly an aroma—rubber tubing, faint candy—served a bit too cold for the style which isn’t helping. Taste is very mildly bitter. Medium-bodied, dry, empty finish. Time to start over with this one.

Almost black with a creamy, beige head. Too cold, limited aroma. No time to wait. Burnt grains. Taste is moderate bitter the whole way through. Dried out burnt leather finish. Body barely makes medium, slightly metallic thinnishness.

Brown with a frothy head of modest duration. Served too cold, suppressing the aroma, but maybe for the better since I’m only picking up old shoe. Taste is mildly bitter with smoke and electrical fire at the end. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Borderline lousy.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma full of citrus. There’s marshmallow too. Taste is bitter with resin at the finish. Deliciously chewy body. The hit among the otherwise below average beers in my flight.

Cask at GBBF 2019 - London. Pours mostly clear gold with a light, creamy white head. Light to medium sweet with some meaty citrus character, mellow bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Alright balance in the finish, more chewy, ripening citrus fruits. Not bad.
