Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2017, day one - London. Pours clear reddish brown with a foamy, tan head. The aroma holds light chocolate cake, mellow roast, dried berries. Light sweet flavour with a bit of brown bread, subtle astringency, ashy roast. Light bodied with fine carbonation; so so condition. Dry finish, some bitter chocolate, more ash. So so overall.

Cask @ Brink, Manchester. Golden with a small head. Has a slightly robust hoppiness, which is surprising for an ale with such an easy strength.

Wigan Beer Festival 2020. Hazy bright golden. It has fruity citrus in both aroma and taste, with a lower bitterness factor from this.
