Apart from the chart topping song, Nena is infamous for her armpit hair in performances of it! Hazy yellow gold. Light tasting sour, hoppy tropical fruity until a developing sourness really does come to the fore in its aftertaste. Citrus heavy, but citrus juicy too.

Cask at Swan and Railway, Wigan. Pours almost black with a small foamy beige head. The aroma has roasted malts and liquorice plus a hint of coffee. In the mouth it is quite bitter but with a little underlying sweetness. Favour has roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. Later on liquorice and peaty smoke comes though as well. Finish is slightly bitter. This is a decent stout with plenty of flavour.

Madness were the only band to appear twice on The Young Ones comedy series. No second appearance here, just an easy session ale probably never to be repeated. Hoppy
