Description
In 2009 Blackedge Brewery was founded born of Shaun and Wayne’s passion for good beer. The name is a combination of our respective home villages at the time, Blackrod and Edgworth.
11 years on we have become a well-known award-winning microbrewery at the heart of the small independent brewing community in the North West. We are SIBA FSQ accredited and members of the SIBA Independent Assured Brewer programme which ensures the beers we make are of the highest quality. We take pride in the quality beers we provide.

Keg @ Fox And Goose, Hebden Bridge. Cloudy yellow-gold with a small frothy head. Lots of citrus, but not overly bitter, served pretty cold so this probably has a subduing effect too. Has a noticeable strength.

Stockport Beer Festival 2023. Extremely dark ale with an apt name as it does have a velvety smooth texture, although not particularly high on stout character.

440ml can from London: BB 30th June 2023. Drank at home on 26th May 2023. Clean and clear golden pour, white affair on top. Bog standard German style Pils, slight floral aroma and a grassy flavour before a light bitterness kicks in. It's fine for a UK Lager.
